Beautifully crafted to showcase red and dark fruit notes, the bouquet opens up with mixed red berries, fresh boysenberry, and a touch of maple syrup. The palate features crème caramel, freshly cracked black pepper, fruit punch, and dried rose petals. The soft minerality adds mouthfeel, balanced by the bright and focused fruit. The tannins are moderate, giving the wine a lengthy finish.
Our site-specific clones of hillside Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Grenache Noir gain their intensity and focus from shallower, drier, and less fertile soils—the classic red wine grape landscape.
Because we understand that superior fruit comes from healthy soils and balanced vines, we do the little things right. Our sustainable viticultural practices include composting, avoiding organophosphates, conservative pruning, block-specific trellising and canopy management, and post-veraison crop thinning. The hard work pays off in quality grapes and exceptional wines.
