Our Grenache delivers an array of aromatic and flavor subtleties sure to intrigue the senses. Black cherry, violet and spice with cranberry minerality juxtaposed on a jam-like earthen foundation made for a most entertaining varietal treat. Hand crafted Old World flavors.
Our newest vineyard to date, the Chemise estate rests at an altitude of 1,400 feet on the western side of the Dry Creek Valley. The dry-farmed vineyard was originally planted with Zinfandel in 1999, but more plantings have been added over the years.
The rocky volcanic soils allow superior drainage, forcing the vines to dig deep into the mountainside for water, resulting in concentrated flavors and incredible structure.
